This project called for a paper set that the dancer could interact with. This was a symbolic dance piece that reflects the human experience with Alzheimer’s.
Dance piece reflecting a view through the lens of Alzheimers. As a human loses the memories and characteristics that have collectively built their life, what remains? The resolution of this piece suggests that the essence of their being still remains, and that they find peace.
